How Future Karaoke uses device IDs
Updated 8 October 2026. Applies to online songbooks in Host 1.3.2 and later.
Future Karaoke uses an app-specific device identifier to associate your licensed computer with its venue, separate online song requests between computers, and administer device access and support.
Your raw machine identifier stays on your computer. The service stores a protected derived identifier linked to your registered installation and venue. Access to these records is restricted to authenticated licence administration. Guest songbook links contain a separate room identifier; they do not expose your protected device ID, licence key or account credentials.
Device associations are retained while the installation is registered, then removed after 90 days of revocation. Unreferenced device records are removed after 90 days without registration activity. Trial eligibility records are kept separately as explained in the Trial Privacy Notice.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for their marketing. The licensing and online request service uses Cloudflare to provide hosting and protected storage.
